My Global Medallion experience started in April 2017. I was attracted by this program because I strongly believed that new education must be focus in a global environment.

Since my external perspective, the actual professional must be expert in their field and must have knowledge about the global business. In contrast, since my internal perspective, the actual professional must cultivate extra-curricular activities, such as travel, visit museums, listen to music, read about politics , economy, social problems to enhance their culture, and creativity. These activities, externals and internals, are the nutrients to create new ideas for a better society.

The Global Medallion Program of Florida International University helps me in both sides, external and internal. Now, I have knowledge of politics, arts, music, Asian culture, Latin American culture, etc. This knowledge helps me to understand and to be more compassionate towards the people around the world. Now, I understand the imperative necessities of a better communication in a global environment where different cultures with different approach must interact.

One of the requirement of this program is to complete the Activity Points Log with twenty global co-curricular activities. I enjoyed and accomplished every single activity!

Below, I will mention four of the twenty point activities required in this program.
